I haven't tried path D for the moment, but on C, I always tried to have my characters pincering the boss exactly like this, but it's so hard without the levitation on all on the previous floor with those annoying enemies that push your units around...
I'll try with Djugan too !

But on j3, meaning you have to clear route C 5 times before having levitation all.

I saw the Mog, missed my pincer, got killed, S/L, mog no longer appears.

Maybe it has nothing to do with Karma.

@Dreydus says that S/L messes up the turncount. Oh well.

Slightly better. At max level. Which takes like seven times as much XP and a lot more coins.

It gives a small MDef boost. +100% MAtk is +225% damage, but +100% MDef is only +62% survivability.

But yeah, limited time content. If you can get it, you should get it.

In pvp, 20% damage reduction is barely the difference to prevent a kill. Throw in another 20%, and you should be able to avoid a lot of non power point pincers.

Thank you for this guide. I tried to do the event without guides for once, but I kept getting wiped out by the torn berry king right at the start of that level without a clue as to why. Of course being stubborn and crazy (trying same thing over and over and expect different results) I wasted another 90 stamina before caving. Ugh.

Well, it's not +20% damage reduction. +20% Defense is +13.6% survivability, which is -12% damage.

Invincible is 20%. 3 stacks is 30% which is about 20%.

You're right about bubble shields not stacking, but mog is a stat buff which can be used at the same time as a bubble damage reducing shields.

I think buffs run out at the end of your turn. So when you're being attacked, you only have one turn of buffs.

that makes sense, of course, I just thought the statement "you need six of these..." was because of some specific other unknown reason.

One observation: death works pretty well on the monsters the boss summons.

I did some tests and it seems the turn limit for Path D is 6 turns or less in battles 1-4.

Whenever I did 7 turns, the Mog in 5B would not show up.

Also, if you're on path C, Tonberry King's first "Knife" attack will do 99 damage. On path D, it does 999 damage.

I thought Tharos already gave the number.

Isn't Path D decided two turns after Tonberry King shows up? Do you mean that if you made it under the turn limit, he does 999?
