Mutoh ^ and Shin'en ^. Strategies

    So after a lot of discussion in chat about the setup I used with Golem^ on Shinen for teams using Palpa & Gatz, I made this vid to show how I setup my Turn 1 for minimum character movement, so damage is minimized and everyone lives. It's a 4 turn kill setup that deals enough damage to skip the Death Roulette phase. PP Spawns on turn 4, + 5 taps = dead Shinen.

    1 Tap on Turn 1 ensures stave death. Gatz^ sits in the middle of the field, chained to both attacks, so his cross attacks will deal damage to Shinen to ensure T4 death.

    My Mutoh is at 18 luck right now. I've only had 1 massive headache of a run so far. She's not as bad as people make her to be if you own the right units. The problem is the dungeon isn't a 3 minute clear like shin en and doesn't allow mistakes. Most movement mistakes go away after 4 or 5 runs.

    Hope so PM, but I'm not one of the dexterous ones... and I make tactical errors on top of that as well....
    Got the full team arranged, they're just not SB yet so staves don't die reliably :(

    -Beau'ne
    Also holy dragon Z is mandatory or you can do without ?

    Myne does 4x holy out of pincer. 12 in pincer for 20x total on Mutoh burst. 12.5x in pincer only. It is a difference in the last turn that makes the fight not just rng on staff positioning but rng on her movement afterwards.

    Yes you need holy dragons. The numbers are that close. Now to unlock her, that team does have a small chance but as I said above, it's heavy rng against you needing 2 turns off perfect ai movement.

    Finally managed to get Shinen today for the first time, and I did it twice!
    Who needs your fancy Gatz! Of course, if I had him it would be sooo much easier.

    Basically I had to S/L a million times until I got it right, and I could only kill 1 of the staffs turn 1. There was some luck involved on the remaining staff NOT killing me. I had to start the pincer on the left one go because everytime i started on the right, the staff would always kill me. On turn 2 and 3, I could use the remaining staff for triple pincer which really helped on damage. Turn 4 I used 3 taps from Palpa for the win. Really easy once turn 1 done :) Just some hope for others out there who still don't have Gatz or another tapper.

    Edit:
    This morning I tried swapping out Amina's OII for her O companion and I can't do it. I can managed to clear out the 2 staffs on turn 1 easily without taps. The problem is turn 2. I cannot make a double pincer without someone dying to save my life and even if I did, I wouldn't have to proper units in the correct position to maximize damage - because of this, I wouldn't get Shin'en's life down on turn 4.

    Honestly, turn 1 without Kinetic Ward is not much harder than with it. You just have to find that right opportunity to move, do it really fast and then memorize where to go next because honestly, my fingers are not made of glass! Sometimes you just have to go a little bit farther, pause to watch where the moving things are going and then do it again and avoid it.

    It also really pisses me off that I can move a character and easily get them where they need to go before the missiles hit that area, and I will be on the other side of the map, yet the character is still moving into position and still get hit. They should move as fast as I move :mad:

    FYI - Kraken Kino has Kinetic trap ward as a base skill, and Kinetic Trap Disarm on his OII companion. He's probably the best option if you don't have Mizell.

    Now that Peryna OII has more daily quest drop slots, Cammy + Peryna will work to for those with her. Just an FYI statement.
