    i'm sure there has been threads like this in the past, but there have been many new additions to the game so I think it would be fun to do this again. :)

    Basically:
    1. Pick a character that doesn't have a recode yet.
    2. Tell us how you want or expect his/her recode to turn out. Can be as vague or detailed as you wish.
    3. Give feedback to other people's ideas if you want.
    4. Be disappointed when the actual recode comes out :troll:

    I'll start with Amimari^.

    Type: Sword
    Element: Healing

    Stats:
    Atk : 390
    Matk: 380
    Def: 320
    Mdef: 370


    Skills:
    - Gigasword, Area(1), 30%, Chainable
    - Conversion Rite, All, 30%, Pincer only
    - Attack +5%, Beastfolk, 30%, 2 turns, Chainable
    - Petasword, 30%, Pincer only

    Basically, the idea is to make her different from A'misandra^ and Amina^. Her base form is already different from the other two by having a sword job, so I decided to expand that. Unlike the other other two, she gets her party-heal from Conversion Rite instead. The party buff is there for turns where you don't need healing so she can still do something useful outside Pincer. Her stats is a bit low because she's still primarily a healer with sword secondary. So if she can do both well she would overshadow the other two Amis.

    The whole point of this is to fix Gaiga's main issue: Very crappy attack skillset for an SS. Make of it what you will.

    I'd be fine with either of these. Gaiga is an interesting character, and one of my favorite art sets in the game, so it's a shame that I'll never use her as-is. I actually think that a (useful) seduction/enamor skill is almost a necessity for her, given that sexiness is basically her only character trait.

    **Both Bahl and S'naip have wards as their second recode abilities, so I thought I'd continue that theme.
    **sacrifices 5% of max HP to deal x2 spear damage to all enemies on screen; x3 damage if there is only one enemy. Cannot reduce HP lower than 1.
    I wasn't sure about this ability, but I was trying to give him something creative. Given all the talk in his bio of his enjoyment of pain, I thought he needed an ability like Darkness from Final Fantasy 4. Continuing with the dark knight Cecil theme, he'd probably need to have a healer nearby in the more intense fights. His Rosa, if you will.

    Because free 100 luck Z characters are awesome, also she is a cutie.

    Basically she needs Peta Sword and the three rows Giga Sword from Bahl. And as Support time +4, and physical damage. +1.2x.

    IMO, Y'apkar is a badly designed adventurer. He was an already weak character (for an S rank) when he's first released. Now, with all new recodes, he is pretty damn useless.

    The idea is to make him some what more useful but still true to his character, at the same time, fill in some gap for his race as well.

    Y'apkar has always have nice even stats even though he almost exclusively use magic skills. So, I'll keep following that tradition and give him ~30% boost in all stats to fit into Z class.

    Now, for my reasoning for skills,..
    - Heal (all): His previous healing skills are sub-1000 fixed value, 400 and 600. To me, giving him a healing skill that can heal everyone for 900 points seems like a reasonable step up.

    - Defense +15% (Lizardfolk): Y'apkar's slot 2 skills has always been defense buff. Also, since Human already have +15% DEF from Amina Λ, I reckon Lizardfolks should receive the same treatment as well.

    - Magical Damage x1.5: This is just to make his magic skills from previous jobs more useful. And, imo, they won't be over-powered since all of them are weak single target skills.

    - Astral Blast, Most HP (2): This is a skill worthy of being a recoded Z class. But to keep inline with his character trait, it'll not be AOE. Additionally, this would allow Y'apkar to make use of his ATK stat.

    Don't really feel like justifying the skills as I feel he needs to be in the top 10 list (for most people) again.
    Boulder smash could be similar to Bonna's twin arrow skill or some kind of row x3 column x3......That would be pretty op though ;).

    I'll suggest something a little different, yet familiar.

    Zeera^, Spear type - Z rank

    Gigaspear, Column (1)
    Control Time +4 sec, Equip
    Gigaspear Cross, all
    Execution, all

    Execution - Hits all targets for 1.5x weapon damage. Critical hit on enemies under 30% hp.

    Yes, Gaiga needs a recode badly. I have my own idea for a Gaiga^, though.
    • Death Arrows, Corners, 15%, Chain. Inflict x1 bow damage with 60% chance of instant death.
    • filler equip skill. Kinetic Ward or something.
    • Death Arrows, Area(2), 15%, Chain. Inflict 1x bow damage with 80% chance of instant death.
    • Invitation to Hell, Random, 10%, Pincer. Inflict 5x darkness damage with 120% chance of instant death to 1 random target.
    Rather than make her into another darkness damage (we already have 4 Z class: Zerro, Puprope, Sha'plar, Seiryu), I'm making her into a Death-based character. All those chainable Death skills makes sure she kill something. Her last skill is very strong skill that guarantees a kill to anything with above 80% Death vulnerability, and still deals large damage if it misses. All this makes her very good at clearing tough mobs and adds, but at the cost of not so strong against bosses.

    Also, if she still ends up useless, those low rate skills makes her SB really fast so you can get rid of her from PoT ASAP :p.

    I love this one. I like Y'apkar, too, his art and story are great, but he sucks in battle. That last skill is kind of OP though if it works like Twin Arrows. Probably should have it limited to 1 target only.

    The problem with giving her death status skills is the fact that they are effectively useless in this stage of the game. Almost all enemies have immunity or resistance to Death. And it most certainly isn't an option for PvP. If my original proposal was modified by replacing one of the skills with a utility skill unique to her, it would be a preferred option. But it is a nice idea. :p

    Well, most Kino mobs aren't completely immune, which is where I assume she would be used most. My intended use is for her to be against bosses that summon a lot of annoying mobs, like Lucia and pal.

    Honestly, though, so few games handle status effects right, and TB unfortunately isn't one of them :disappointed:

    the gear up skill is for me a + for zeal there he has not to much atk in this class. zeal have to be the first in the pincer for this skill and the skill cant used in chain

    companion -- his chain from job 3

    the atk is to high bahl ^ lvl 90 atk is 418

    I actually got his stats by scaling him from job 3 at the same ratio as Bahl to Bahl ^. Ma'curi gets to 394 at level 90 in job 3. He's crazy powerful for a B class.

    Personally I'd like to see Zael with a Petasword attack, but looking back at his abilities in The Last Story, I'd be cool if they added in Gale. Gale allowed Zael to dash across the screen and do a wind attack on an enemy, and it also dispersed allies' buffs to everyone and diffused enemy spells. I don't know exactly how I'd integrate Gale into Terra Battle (although a "Magic Attack Down 30%" debuff on enemies might work), but it'd be nice to.

    Now that MW has shown my beloved Invincible some serious love, it'd be amazing if they did the same for Zael. For a character that was initially so tough to get, his current speccing is pretty lame. I could definitely see a better version of him, a la Echo^ and Senala^.
