「Guide 」OTOMO for minmaxers

Please note that the C feeding only works for high EXP (i.e. helmets) to low EXP (i.e. equips) in order to get to level 3 with only one item; it's still worth it, but it's not quite the 1.5x I had originally though; for others, it would need to be a C and a D to get to level 3 (also worth it IMO)

 

So on Hiso Notes, how much xp do they give when leveled to 17, 19, and 20? I'm trying to determine which to level them to for most efficiency since I pulled a few of them. The guide on the hiso tears is much easier, as it really only makes sense to level them to 10.

 

You can check my OTOMO Data thread for the EXP given, it's a value per level.
For Hiso's Note, it's 1200 EXP per level.

You can even check the post made only for EXP tables. For Hiso's Tear and Note, I added the EXP gived at each level, if you want to compare with the EXP cost to reach that level (and do not forget that it miht be worth spending more EXP that it will reward to avoid huge coin cost)

 

You mentioned King's Chronicle -- how do you make this?

But you could drop KTear or Knote only on CoF (it's not an otomo from monster drop)

Is CoF even remotely worth anything? Them repeats though. >.<

 

Miku, I suggest using CoF a few times to try to get a few decent units. If you haven't finished the PoF, that should be the priority, but that doesn't mean you can't throw a few thousand (i.e. around 40k) and try to get a few decent units that you can then use your MMs on to boost your main party. The rest of CoF can wait for after PoF (and job unlocking, etc.).

 

Trueeee. Well I finished the PoF. I've been using a lot of my coins for recoding and upgrading 2 main omotos so idk. I'm at about 300k now. ;_;

 

If you are going to grind SB, you should consider getting 6 demon chronicles, as they speed up the process. You can get demon's notes and tears from the CoF

 

You can actually get all the way up to Demon Chronicles themselves in BoF. I know since I of course pulled one right after finishing the majority of my SB'ing .

 

Something I don't get, whey is Demon Chronicle better than another chronicle.

I upgraded 2 King Chronicle for MZ6, are those as efficient as Demon Chronicle ?

You will see that Demon Chronicle has an emit rate (for sb) of 15% where the King Chronicle has a rate of 100%.
So Demon Chronicle is basically used to sb: it will give more chances to your character to sb (mostly used in 1-4 or 1-5).

Might be worth adding Ochu for SB Otomo. While pincer only, he provides a 30% emit heal phase which is extremely beneficial for those one-phasers. He's also trivial to get (no materials/coins for evo, etc.), and the majority of players should have a few on hand by the time they are done running the low level paths Mobius collab.

 

So I was wondering, between a Skullsplitter and an Earth Sword , what would be the most efficiant in term of damage ?

 

Depends on the character's base attack and whether or not you can stack the damage bonus from Skullsplitter. It can also matter if you're entering a level-capped dungeon. In many cases Skullsplitter is the better option in large part because you can stack its damage bonus.

 

Maxed out earth sword is +80 str. And skull only +10 %.
So if your unit have 400 str you will need 2 skullsplitter activation to equal a earth sword.
Earth sword is like a fixed auto 2 activation skullsplitter.
I prefer earth sword when im in pvp where lv limit is low.
But in higher lv pvp where my unit have higher str skullsplitter can be better than earth if used right.
