EDIT: Matthieu has done an excellent job of implementing this in his web app: http://tbs.desile.fr/#/item-drops
I encourage everyone to go there. His superior implementation can give you better estimates based on the number of treasure hunters you have on your team. It also displays other levels as well (e.g., less optimal, but perhaps more ideal on other dimensions).

Below is a table that indicates the best stage to farm any given item. The number (Sta) indicate the expected amount of stamina needed to get one drop. For instance, Animaton has a value of 95, which means it would require on average 95 stamina for a single drop on stage 27-10 (i.e., 5 runs * 19 stamina).

I've included the legendary weapons so the table is complete and can be used as a quick reference for anything. This was compiled using the foe data supplied by Kivanc.

Note: this can be a little misleading for stage 20-1, which actually is much more efficient if you take into account the four different rare items that drop. The metric here just considers each individually.

Stam = average stamina used for one drop
AvgD = average number of drops per run
    St = stamina per run

Edit: Converted numbers to more sensible stamina per drop.

Thanks for doing this. We actually have a nice guide for items coming soon; we were just struggling about some representation bugs.

There are still some mistakes (as far as I can see) in your posting. For example, most efficient place to farm for Orichalcum is 16-5, which is 12 stamina for 20% drop rate.

    Can you double check?

As far as I can tell, the numbers are correct. Two points:

    1) did you mean 15-6? This stage is 60 Stamina per Orichalcum.
    2) 30-10 is a bit of an odd stage from the data I was looking at. According to the data you posted, both instances of 6Z00 have a 20% chance to drop Orichalcum. Is this right? If so, 30-10 only requires 50 stamina per drop (~40% drop for 20 stamina). I haven't made it to chapter 30 yet, so I can't confirm.

edit: I looked at ~12-15 videos of different people playing 30-10 and there wasn't a single item drop at all by either instances of 6Z00...??? Has anyone gotten a drop on this level? In the meantime, I excluded stage 30-01 from consideration.

I meant 15-6, sorry. Don't know about 30-1, I haven't get there myself either, let me check the data.

Edit: As far as I can see, they are different stages, not sure why you think they are both 30-1.

Edit 2: I don't see any uncommon item drops on 30-1, so not sure what you mean.

Very useful guide, thank you. The info is scattered all over the forum and elsewhere, so it's good to have it all in one place.

Edit: Hmm...I do find some of these numbers non-intuitive because you are only including individuals. For instance, I end up with loads of Terra Staff on 20-1. For the 21 stamina/drop for the 23-04 stage, did you just compute for one boss or enemy? Do you account for multiple enemies who can drop a range of items?

    Consider sticky after corrections.
Suggest adding one special line [Animatron + Ox + Dark Matter + Moon Tears] .. 20-1

I did, but, I was suggesting it should be listed, even if there are no places to get it, or at least noted.

Kivanc, this might be a small quibble, but with the growing number of guides, I think it may be preferable to go with more descriptive names for the threads. The title of this particular thread "Best locations to farm" is extremely clear and very click-friendly. Although yours has more comprehensive data, I did not realize the thread had that data until clicking as its name is too general ("Comprehensive Item Data").

You might disagree and say that the title you chose was more descriptive, but I should just let you know that I was quick to click this one, and slow to discover you had the info in yours.

By the way, are you also the webmaster of the terrabattlex website/wiki? I think that we need an organized index for the guides at some point...

It is a shame that the terrabattlex and terrabattle.wikia.com website are two separate entities, as I find different parts helpful on either. And then there are these forums as well, but the info here is a bit harder to find unless you start digging through threads.

I am happy to take suggestions. Do you have the same problem with the other guide names or only the item guide?

See also my edited post above about the terrabattlex website (weren't sure if you were the webmaster).

In general, most of the names are okay, but they could use more precision and directness. For instance, "DPS Potentials" is very vague. Why not just replace with "Character Damage Per Second (DPS) Rankings"? [I also have issues with using acronyms, but I guess I'm not a huge gamer). The aforementioned "Comprehensive Item Data" is more like "Best Locations to Farm" [less general, but most people are looking for this].

"Consolidated [mispelled] Farmable Monster List" is also a strange title. Consolidated is an irrelevant descriptor because it is only known to you and a few others where the info is consolidated from---if you understand my point. Perhaps a title like "Farmable monsters and where to find them" is more direct.

I think the real issue is the fact that there are too many stickies and no index. Certain topics need to be clustered together. DPS rankings should be placed with character data, farmable monster locations with comprehensive monster data, and so on and so forth.

Anyways, when try to find some info, I first go to either the terrabattlex website, then the Wikia, then this forum. An overall index on one of the two terra battle websites to these various guides would be extremely helpful.

I have no idea what you mean by being webmaster on terrabattlex. If you are asking whether I am or not, I am NOT.

I have applied your suggestions for namings. Consolidated ... guide was not my guide. I realized that the information is mostly outdated after our in-game data releases, I just non-stickied it.

I have no idea what you mean by index. In the discussion thread: http://terrabattleforum.com/threads/official-in-game-data-discussion-thread.4799/ have links to each guide. Do you want me to create another thread that just links to the other guides?

I disagree that DPS ranking should be merged with character data. For once, character data comes directly from the game, it is not open to discussion. However, DPS rankings have assumptions and other heuristics and it is data that we derive for further discussion.

As I mentioned, I am not a webmaster/contributor to any of these sites, so I cannot do much about linking from those places back to the forum guides. I know that @Myskaros and (I think) @Cel are active contributors to the Wikia, so maybe they can do something like that. @Terra Battle X (although he does not post much on the forum) is the webmaster (I believe) of terrabattlex, so again you might ask him to do something like that.

Sorry, you miss my intention. I was not saying that the DPS thread should be merged with the character data thread, but rather that they should be clustered together in some index.

Simply a 'home page' where all the guides are listed in some organized fashion (as opposed to accessing the guides subforum where all the stickies are in some random order).

Just my two cents of course.

I see. I don't know how much I can simulate this with mu current moderator capabilities.

Let me talk with the admin to see whether it is possible to present this information, maybe at the home page?
