Disclaimer: This is a simple raw damage ranking against a single target ignoring circle of carnage and elemental weakness. Characters with stackable abilities have a higher damage potential than listed bellow. Some characters have skills that hit only rows/columns/area and for the purpose of this guide we will assume correct positioning to maximize damage. The total value is unmitigated damage.

    Champion - Ma'curi the Martyr

    + Attack +10% (Stackable)
    + Physical Attack x1.5 (Stackable)
    + Gigaspear
    + Gigaspear

    ATK: 315 x 1.2 = 378
    Modifiers: Megaspear (x1), 2 Gigaspear (x2), Teraspear (x3), Physical Attack x1.5
    Total: 378^1.75 x (8 + 1) x 1.5 = 437,466

    Contender - S'naip the Elastic-Tailed

    + Attack +10% (Stackable)
    + Physical Attack x1.5 (Stackable)
    + Gigabow
    + Tail Spin

    ATK: 332 x 1.2 = 398.4
Modifiers: Gigabow (x2), Tail Spin (x1.5), Terabow (x3), Physical Attack x1.5
    Total: 398.4^1.75 x (6.5 + 1) x 1.5 = 399,679

Given Ma'curi and S'naip x1.5 buff they stand head and shoulders above everyone else. When stacked they leave the 3rd place in the dust.

    3rd place - Gugba Earthshaker

    + Attack +10% (Stackable)
    + Megasword
    + Gigasword
    + Avalanche

    ATK: 344 x 1.2 = 412.8
    Modifiers: Megasword (x1), Gigasword (x2), Terasword (x3), Avalanche (x2), Tremor (x1)
    Total: 412.8^1.75 x (9 + 1) = 378,045

4th place - Camellia the Slut

    + Femme Fatale Atk 10%
    + Femme Fatale Atk 15%
    + Gigasword
    + Terabow

    ATK: 271 x 1.5 = 406.7
    Modifiers: Megaspear (x1), Gigasword (x2), Terabow (x3), Terasword (x3)
    Total: 406.7^1.75 x (9 + 1) = 368,326

    5th place - Suoh

    + Attack +10% (Stackable)
    + Megasword

    ATK: 322 x 1.1 = 354.2
    Modifiers: Megasword (x1), Gigasword (x2), Gigabow (x2), Teraspear (x3), Physical Attack x1.2
    Total: 354.2^1.75 x (8 + 1) x 1.2 = 312,326

6th place - Czekras the Swift (2nd job)

    + Magic Attack +10% (Stackable)
    + Ice Blade
    + Ice Blade
    + Glacial Blade

    ATK: 242
    MATK: 300 x 1.2 = 360
Modifiers: 2 Ice Blade (x1), 2 Glacial Blade (x2), Absolute Zero Blade (x3)
    Total: 242^1.75 + 360^1.75 x 9 = 14,848 + 267,776 = 282,624

7th place - Bahl the Dark Hero

    + Attack +10% (Stackable)
    + Physical Attack x1.5 (Stackable)

    8th place - Tiamat

    MATK: 311
Modifiers: Absolute Zero (x3), Tempest (x3), Solar Wind (x3), Dark Matter (x3)
    Total: 311^1.75 x 12 = 276,383

9th place - Samatha the Foestalker

    + Magic Attack 10% (Stackable)
    + Thunder Strike
    + Lightening Strike
    + Gigaspear

    ATK: 256
    MAT: 315 x 1.2 = 378
Modifiers: 2 Thunder Strike (x1), Lightening Strike (x2), Tempest Strike (x3), Gigaspear (x2)
    Total: [256^1.75 x (2 + 1)] + (378^1.75 x 7) = 49,152 + 226,834 = 275,986

10th place - Zuzu the Supersonic (2nd job)

    + Attack +10% (Stackable)
    + Megasword
    + Megasword
    + Terasword

    ATK: 315 x 1.2 = 378
    Modifiers: 2 Megasword (x1), Gigasword (x2), Terasword (x3)
    Total: 378^1.75 x 8 = 259,239 + Flat 1000 dmg

    11th place - SS Mages

    + Tier 1 Spell
    + Tier 1 Spell
    + Tier 2 Spell

    MATK: 354
    Modifiers: 2 Tier 1 Spell (x1), 2 Tier 2 Spell (x2), Tier 3 Spell (x3)
    Total: 354^1.75 x 9 = 260,014

Double Pincer Top Five (VS Bosses)

    S'naip: 692,967
    Ma'curi: 670,991
    Tiamat: 552,765
    SS Mages: 520,028
    A'merpact: 487,775

In a double pincer (i.e. against bosses) mages show their true power since they can dump their load twice. Ma'curi and S'naip will only reach these numbers when stacked (going second).

That's interesting. When 1.5 buff stacked, Macu'ri and S'naip can deal much greater damage than any of SS. Their weakness is the DEF/MDEF and HP though, but that's not a big problem now.

    @zmxlegend

Tiamat managed to one shot my Ma'curi once but usually he survives with a sliver (without capsules).

    @Goc

    ATK: 271 x 1.5 = 406.7

    @Suppi

hmm... indeed, I messed Bahl math. Fixed, there she goes at 7th.

Yeah, it shows at 50% with 1 proc and 100% with 2 procs.

I just want to point out that the 1.5x buffs last two turns, making 2 stacks of the buff very common, with 3+ being possible as well.

How do you stack 3+ of the 1.5x buffs if they only last 2 turns?

Also, great post Balam, super helpful!

    @Tony

First picture, moved piz and aminari to make S'naip and Ma'curi proc once before initiating the double pincer

Second picture, stacked S'naip (x3) on the following turn.

Awesome work Balam, I love it. Small mistake, you used Czekras job 3 attack in your calculations.

It'd be interesting to see this same math for a double pincer, since the mages then get to attack twice but (most skills of) melees only get to attack once. Although you'd have to ask, are you involved in the first or the second pincer of the turn? Since everyone would have higher stacking buffs if they were in the second pincer. Maybe take the average?

    Thanks! Fixed Czekras ATK.

That's a good point. Changed "stacked" ranking to double pincer to better reflect mages awesomeness. I've just assumed the stacked melee going second to keep it simple.

This is actually going to result in 4 (or 5) stacks on the next attack, since the buff occurs before the attack. That's why I said 2 stacks is very common; assuming 1.5x procs every turn, 2 stacks are maintained constantly. So back to back double pincers would put dudes at +200% every attack (if they go 2nd).... not that I think anything survives that long atm..

I think stack twice of x1.5attack is x2 attack instead of 2.25(not 100% sure), but then Macuri should be 583k instead of 670k

I've accounted for the 10% stacking twice as well for a total of 30%.

    315 x 1.3 = 409.5
    409.5^1.75 x 9 x 2 = 670,991

Oh hi, I did some calculation too by simplifying here and there for mage type character I just used the highest value from atk or matk so I have slightly higher damage on mages, I'll probably change that so I have more precise things. I used the ^0.69 defense mitigation formula to try and see with 100def and 200def but after testing on some maps with monster with less than 100 def it doesn't seem to work and the real damage is higher than the expectation.

Have the person activate it twice in one turn by taking apart in more than one attack.

So in theory, you could stack it up to 6 times? (1x Attack + 2x supports) x 2 turns.
Only 5 tof those 6 would be useful (the last would be with activated after the last attack) but still... Amazing!
